How it works

OpenLing is a program you install on your Windows computer. During the call it acts as your interpreter: it carries your voice into the other person’s language and brings their voice back to you in English.

Getting started takes three steps

    Install it on Windows

    Download and install it like any other program. Then sign in with the email you used to buy.

  2. 2

    Set it up once

    Choose your languages and, in Meet, Teams or Zoom, pick OpenLing as the microphone. Next time, it’s ready.

  3. 3

    Click Start and talk

    OpenLing sits in a small window on top of your call. You can also start it with Ctrl + Shift + L.

What are the plan hours?

Time on calls with OpenLing switched on. It only counts while someone is speaking. Extra hours cost €5.

Does it work on Mac or mobile?

No. OpenLing is Windows only.

Which languages?

You speak English and the other person can speak Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and more.

Which call apps?

Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Discord and any other app that lets you choose a microphone.
